Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid Tower: A Modern Landmark in Abu Dhabi

14 Oct 2024

The Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid Tower, designed by Foster + Partners, is an 88-story skyscraper in Abu Dhabi, UAE, completed in 2014. Spanning 1,360,053 square meters, this
modern architectural marvel features a reflective, wave-like facade that not only captivates the eye but also incorporates internal shading to minimize solar heat gain.

Situated on the site of the former Central Market, the tower integrates a public market at its base, creating a vibrant community space. Its unique, undulating envelope enhances the
building's aesthetic while offering residents and visitors breathtaking multi-faceted views.

The project was recognized as a regional winner in the Middle East and Africa category of the 2015 Best Tall Buildings Awards by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH).

With a dedicated team including structural engineers Halvorson and Partners and MEP engineers BDSP Partnership, the Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid Tower stands as a testament to
innovative design and urban development in the region.
