One Beverly Hills, designed by Foster + Partners, is set to transform 17.5 acres of prime land in Beverly Hills into a breathtaking oasis of sustainability and luxury. The masterplan introduces 10 acres of open space and meticulously designed gardens, curated by landscape architects RIOS, with over 200 species of native Californian plants and trees. This ambitious development not only enhances the existing Beverly Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills but also adds new luxury elements, including an Aman Hotel, Aman-branded residences, and a standalone Aman Club. The integration of sustainable practices, such as rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling, ensures that the development will be 100% water sustainable, conserving millions of gallons of water annually.
The project’s design thoughtfully incorporates pedestrian and bicycle access, creating new pathways and bike lanes that seamlessly connect the entire site. The gardens will extend across Wilshire Boulevard, creating a green gateway that separates cars from nature while inviting visitors to explore the lush surroundings and curated retail and dining experiences. This development not only respects the legacy of Beverly Hills but also sets a new standard for urban sustainability and luxury living in Los Angeles.
