Jaguar has unveiled a complete transformation of its brand identity, marking the beginning of a new era. Rooted in the original ethos of founder Sir William Lyons, who famously declared, "A Jaguar should be a copy of nothing," the reimagined brand embraces originality and fearless creativity. The new visual identity, which debuted on November 19, 2024, is defined by "Exuberant Modernism," a design philosophy that celebrates boldness, geometric forms, and unexpected visual elements. Jaguar's rebranding effort captures a powerful, modern spirit, where symmetry and simplicity blend seamlessly with unexpected, artistic flourishes.
One of the most striking elements of this transformation is Jaguar's new "Device Mark." This signature mark features a harmonious blend of upper and lowercase characters that visually embody the brand’s focus on modernity and uniqueness. Complementing the device mark is the bold linear "Strikethrough" graphic, a visual statement that cuts through the ordinary, aligning with Jaguar’s commitment to creating something truly exceptional. The use of vibrant, exuberant colors like yellow, red, and blue represents the brand's deep ties to art, with each hue adding texture and movement that injects energy into the visual landscape.
Incorporating its renowned "Leaper" emblem, Jaguar's new identity also includes a fresh Maker’s Mark. As part of this renewed commitment to artistic expression, Jaguar will present "Copy Nothing" during Miami Art Week on December 2, 2024.
