Sunmark School, located in Jumeirah Village Triangle, Dubai, showcases a remarkable transformation in educational design, executed by Design Infinity and envisioned by Lulie Fisher Design Studio. This project not only prioritizes functionality but also emphasizes a vibrant and inspiring environment for both students and educators.
A Collaborative Environment
The design strategy involved the removal of existing walls to create large open spaces that promote collaboration. The interior layout features various desking options and meeting areas, accommodating diverse learning and teaching needs. Central to the design are organic platforms that serve as seating and desking while integrating green spaces to enhance the atmosphere.
Emulating Natural Light
A standout feature of the design is the series of hanging back-lit stretched ceiling panels, which emulate natural daylight over the trees. This innovative approach creates an inviting atmosphere reminiscent of an outdoor courtyard, contributing to a unique educational experience.
